Introduction

I’m Yash, a Schulich Scholar at the University of Waterloo. This summer, I’ll be interning at Apple as a Software Engineer.

Here’s a resume with a detailed description of my experiences

Over the years, I’ve worked with a variety of technologies, including Mobile development with Swift + Flutter, Machine Learning with Keras + Pytorch and backend development with Node.js + Go. I also have experience with C/C++ through projects and coursework.

In my free time, I enjoy playing the classical guitar, reading about history, economics (particularly behavioural economics), genetics, biotechnology and philosophy. Here’s a list of some of the book’s I’ve read in the past year or so.

I believe that technology’s immense power and potential will play a key role in tackling the many complex issues our society faces. I’ve worked to apply my skills in iOS and Flutter mobile development to create Votisor and Canada Votes, apps aimed at increasing voter engagement in the political process through the provision of key electoral information.
